This picture was drawn from a photograph of a very familiar face. I turned the photograph upside-down to help me concentrate on drawing what I could actually see.
As my first ever portrait attempt, I was quite pleased with it - although it could do with some shading and texture.
It's clear from the original photograph (left) that I've put the main facial features rather too far apart.
