Welcome.

I'm an Aussie expat. I live in Scotland and love it. The rest is a work in progress.

As a child, I had no idea what I wanted to be when I grew up. I blundered about trying lots of different things, hoping all the while that becoming an adult (whatever that is) would magically tell me what I was supposed to be.

The years passed, but the uncertainty didn't. After a long time, I realised that there was actually one single theme linking my eclectic pursuits: the fact that I like to make things. It's when I'm absorbed in making something - anything from a poem to a computer program to a paper snowflake - that I feel most like myself.

So that's what I am, I guess - somebody who makes things, a thingwright - and this is simply a place to put some of the things I've made.
